Meghan Markle recently shared details about her four-year-old son Prince Archie’s newfound interest, unveiling his hobby during a Netflix event. However, royal fans were left intrigued by a specific request made by the young royal.

The Duchess of Sussex moderated a special screening of Netflix’s short film “The After” on November 15 in Montecito. In a clip from the event, Meghan discussed how she had previously bought Archie a camera, and filmmaker Misan Harriman was teaching him photography during their last meeting.

Amusingly, Prince Archie had a particular preference when it came to the brand of his camera. Meghan shared, “Our four-and-a-half-year-old son, Missan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us, and I bought Archie a camera. And he said ‘but it’s not a Leica like Misan’s.”

The duchess burst into laughter, exclaiming, “You are not getting a Leica, not even for Christmas.”

Leica cameras are renowned for their prestige and come with a hefty price tag, ranging from £1,000 to £8,400. Royal fans quickly noticed the clip, finding Archie’s request either “cute” or “particular” for a four-and-a-half-year-old.

While some expressed surprise at Archie’s brand awareness, others commended his taste and humorously speculated about the fate of an expensive Leica camera in the hands of a young child. Despite the playful banter, it seems Archie has already developed a preference for quality over quantity, even at a young age.
