Tributes are pouring in for 36-year-old Ryan Munro, who tragically fell to his death from a Dundee tenement block last Wednesday, leading to the arrest of Ramsay El-Nakla, the brother-in-law of Humza Yousaf, along with two others.

Emergency services responded swiftly, rushing the injured man to Ninewells Hospital. Unfortunately, Ryan succumbed to his injuries this week. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, with Ramsay El-Nakla and the other two individuals released as the police inquiry continues.

Heartbroken family and friends have fondly remembered the father of two. Ryan’s brother Mark described him as a “great guy” and his “best friend.” Mark expressed gratitude for the support from Ninewells Hospital and revealed that Ryan had agreed to donate his organs, providing the gift of life to others, told The Courier.

Messages of condolence flooded social media, with well-wishers expressing their sorrow. Hayley Blackley extended her thoughts to Ryan’s family, while Linzie Shand and Stacey Jarrett paid respects, acknowledging the profound impact he had on many hearts.

A police spokeswoman detailed the initial incident, stating that the 36-year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment but succumbed to serious injuries. The death is being treated as unexplained, and investigations are ongoing. Three individuals, including El-Nakla, were arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further inquiries.

El Nakla, along with Stephen Stewart, 50, and Victoria McGowan, 41, faced additional charges of supplying heroin, leading to their rearrest after appearing in Dundee Sheriff Court. They did not enter a plea and are set to appear in court at a later date. The situation remains marked by grief, unanswered questions, and ongoing legal proceedings.
